Reception Admissions 2024

We currently have 75 places in our Reception classes.

Applications for a Reception place at our Academy are administered by Staffordshire County Council and the opening date for all applications is 1st November 2023. Note that applications have now CLOSED and should you need to submit a late entry please contact Staffordshire County Council admissions team.

Please be aware that neither St John’s Primary Academy or the Local Authority are in a position to intervene in disputes between parents over school applications and will request that these are resolved privately. If possible, you should liaise with your child’s other parent if you have any views about your child’s transfer to school.

On Monday 16th April 2024, offers of Reception places will be sent directly from Staffordshire County Council to parents via email. For paper applications offers will be made in writing and posted 2nd class on this date.
