Our Athletics team were once again successful in winning the County Championships at Stoke earlier this week. In the final our team competed in a range of track and field events against the regional winners of the other 10 districts in Staffordshire. This success is a remarkable achievement more so because it's the third consecutive year that we have won the final of a competition which covers in excess of 400 schools and academies.
The boys and girls deserve a lot of credit for their commitment and skill that they displayed and they were brilliantly prepared for the finals by our Sports Coach, Mark Corbett.
Competitive Sport and PE is taking very seriously here at St. John’s and we will continue to promote our pupils involvement in these healthy activities.
